An incredible experience all round
Just finished our stay at the hillside haven luxury pod, was an incredible experience all round, very clean and tidy with a great layout to the pod that made it feel very spacious. Would recommend very highly.
Everything is spotless
Excellent facilities, they really have thought of everything! The layout of the room is spacious and everything is spotless. A very relaxing stay and we most certainly will return. Highly recommended if you want a luxurious, comfortable escape.

The best experience we have ever had! Cleanliness in and out! Comfortable bed, amazing view along with all of the essential equipment for leisure, Bbq. The hot tub, Unreal!! Will definitely visit again. Thank you, Coorie retreats, for such luxurious experience!
Wow. What a place.
Wow. What a place. Pure luxury. Loved all the wee welcome touches. Hot tub was superb basked and watched a movie on the projector. Fire pit was an added bonus. Used the pizza oven also. Had a great time. Will definitely be back.
Lovely welcome hamper
Came in January with my partner for a nights stay in Bonnie Brae Lodge. Received check in details in plenty time. Arrived and everything was set up lovely, room and hot tub was warm for us arriving. Lodge came fully furnished very comfortable and homely. Comes with a fully fitted kitchen with coffee makers. Lovely welcome hamper along with bottle of Prosecco chilling in fridge. Also comes with an Amazon Alexa which was fab. Two TV’s with great signal also. Overall this stay was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coorie retreats is an excellent establishment with beautiful lodges and views. Only thing we would change is earlier check in time and later check out time to enjoy for longer!
Can’t wait to come back
This place is just so well thought through with the customer experience right at the heart of everything the two lovely owners have created here. We LOVED the fizz in the pod when we arrived, though better from the hot tub while we watched a movie on the big screen outside. The pod is so well fitted out with everything you’d need for a luxury stay away with thoughtful extras like milk, tea and coffee and rather fancy snacks. We’ll be back for longer next time so we can use the outside fire pit (wood provided) and pizza oven (they provide pizza hampers as an extra). Did I mention they think of everything? Check in/out was super easy too. Can’t wait to come back – so much to do in the area and Portpatrick has some lovely restaurants we want to try. Well done Eamon and Tomas 👏👏👏
Unique accommodation
Unique accommodation with the most incredible outdoor space. My fiancé and I particularly loved the pizza oven and outdoor projector. The interiors are beautifully styled and well considered.
Everything was perfect
Had the most fabulous stay. Everything was perfect and couldn’t have needed anything more! Relaxing hot tub, amazing views and outdoor area was great. The pod was cosy and well equipped. 100% would recommend to anyone for a luxurious getaway!
Absolutely loved our stay
Absolutely loved our stay at the Den! Our hosts were super helpful throughout and provided a great night away. The dome was so cozy and we spent the night in the amazing wood fired hot tub watching movies on the outside projector. Will definitely be back in the summer time!
Rooms: The den was decorated to perfection and felt so cozy. It contained everything we needed for our stay and was so clean!
Noteworthy details: Having the projector next to the hot tub outside was a lovely extra that we had never seen before. It was amazing.
Very well equipped
Just returned from Hillside Haven stay and had a wonderful 2 nights. Very well equipped with everything you would require. The welcome package was greatly appreciated. The Hot tub and outdoor cinema make this a 5 star stay. Hope to return again in the future.
